    DR. RICK HAMLIN

    Mercy Animal Clinic is owned and operated by Rick Hamlin, DVM. Dr. Hamlin graduated from Texas A&M University Veterinary School in 1986 and has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Richardson/Garland/Murphy area ever since.

    Mercy Animal Clinic serves the George Bush Corridor providing excellent pet care for Plano, Richardson, Garland, Murphy, and Sachse. 

    Dr. Hamlin built Kindness Small Animal Hospital in 1992 and owned it until selling in 2005. He continued to practice veterinary medicine in the area and decided in 2012 he wanted to build a new practice. He and his brother built Mercy Animal Clinic in 2012 and he opened its doors in 2013.

    When Dr. Hamlin is not at the clinic during and after hours caring for your pets, he enjoys traveling the globe with his daughter and going to the gym. 

    You will be greeted by Larry, Carl, Roger, Geep, and Amanda our clinic cats and Dogs! They are eager to help take care of you and your pets as well! We look forward to meeting you and serving all of your pet's needs!

    Practice Manager

    Nicole joined the MAC family in 2016 with over 15 years of veterinary experience. She and her husband have 3 kids, 2 dogs and 1 cat. She also pet sits in the DFW area and is always willing to lend a helping hand to an animal in need. She enjoys watching her daughter cheer on week nights and cooking for her family of five. Besides her passion for PUGS she is wonderful with animals of all types. She has said that being the Practice Manager of MAC is what she wants to do til retirement. We hope that never comes!

    Head receptionist

    Torii came to MAC July 2019 after graduating Texas Tech. She is a huge Corgi lover and has one named EVI and a lab mix named Paisley. Torii is currently working on her bachelors degree to become an RN.

    Vet Tech.

    Olivia came to us in 2019 with a tremendous amount of love for animals. She is currently attending Cedar Valley College to get her degree to be an RVT. She is amazing with the patients as well as the clients. We are so happy to have her be a part of our team!

    Leigh came to us in 2019. She is a jack of all trades. You will see her up front as receptionist, kennel staff and a vet assistant when needed. We are so very lucky to have her and you will always see her smiling.

    Vet Assisitant

    Kelse joined MAC in November 2020. She is a huge dog and cat lover. She has 2 cats and one dog and always takes in strays, Kelse plans on joining the military in 2022 so you will see her around helping your pets and answering the phones on occasion.
